These Terms govern your use of Effi, an iOS app published by TuzBuzz Apps & Games. Installing or using the app means you accept them; if you don't, please uninstall it. You need to be at least 13 (16 in the EU) to use Effi.
What you may do with it
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Effi on devices you own or control. Keeping records for your own car — private or for work — is exactly what it's for. You may not resell or redistribute the app, decompile it, or build a competing product out of it.
The figures are estimates
Effi calculates from what you give it: the prices, energy amounts and distances you log. Every cost it shows — cost per mile, spend by charger, what a drive cost — is arithmetic performed on your own entries, and it is only as accurate as they are. Battery behaviour, charging losses and tariff details vary in ways the app cannot observe.
This is not financial, tax or accounting advice. If you intend to use Effi's figures for a mileage claim, an expense reimbursement or a tax return, check them against your charging invoices and whatever your tax authority requires. You are responsible for anything you submit.
Using it in a car
Set up a recording before you drive, not while you're moving. Effi is a logbook, not a navigation system: don't rely on it for directions, and never let it distract you from the road. Obey the traffic laws where you are, and follow your vehicle manufacturer's guidance on phone use. You alone are responsible for operating your vehicle safely.
Recorded routes, speeds and altitudes come from your iPhone's sensors and are approximate. They aren't a legal record of how you drove and shouldn't be offered as one.
Supporting Effi
Effi is free, and the support subscriptions unlock nothing — every feature is available whether you subscribe or not. Supporters get the alternate app icons and a small mark on their share cards. That's the whole difference, and we won't change that.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time in your Apple Account settings — at least 24 hours before a renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Prices vary by region and may change with notice. Refunds are Apple's to grant; we'll help where we can.
Your records are yours to keep
Effi stores everything on your device and we hold no copy. Deleting the app deletes your history with it, and we cannot recover it for you. If the data matters to you, keep your iPhone backups turned on.
Warranties and liability
Effi is provided "as is". We work to keep it correct and to fix what's broken, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TuzBuzz is not liable for incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the app — including decisions made on the basis of its figures. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer-protection law, which apply whatever these Terms say.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these Terms as the app changes; material changes are announced in-app at least 14 days beforehand, and continuing to use Effi after they take effect means you accept them. Governing law is Turkey, with the consumer-protection venues available to EU users preserved. Questions: legal@tuzbuzz.com
